These feeding therapy worksheets are perfect for picky eaters and selective eaters. Sometimes kids are just so over the "food play," and these structured worksheets can help inspire a spirit of inquiry and reinvigorate their interest in food exploration!

Using the five senses, kids can describe the food's color, shape, texture, the sound it makes when you bite or smash it, smell, and taste before deciding how they feel about the food (e.g., uneasy, still learning, like it, or LOVE it!).

These food play printable worksheets can also be completed at home and help families with carryover of recommendations, food play, and/or food presentations.

What's included?

  • Five Senses Food Explorer Worksheet #1: worksheet with prompts to identify sensory features of the food, area to draw the food, indicate whether or not the child has had it before, and how the child feels about the food
  • Five Senses Food Explorer Worksheet #2: includes sensory analysis section for two different foods on the same page
  • Food Explorer Logs (2): one weekly log and one 10 food log that can be completed over any timeframe to track how the child engages with the food (touch, smell, lick, bite, or eat)
